Weightlifting gloves are essential when using heavy weights, be it in the gym or anywhere. Weightlifting gloves provide a thin layer of protection to help remove the stress from your tendons and the middle finger. If weightlifting gloves are not used, it can lead to swelling, inflammation, sensitivity to touch, and even sometimes the inability to bend fingers after a long workout.
